Can i challenge my £60 tax fine?
I received a fine for £60 for having no tax, but i did have an up to date tax disc on my windscreen, although it had fallen of and i didnt know. As i have evidence that i had an up to date tax disc could i dispute it??

yes...you can dispute this and you should.people who tell u to bite the bullet....whats this country coming to...dispute it immediatly.
same thing happendto me a couple of years ago and I got it resolved.

Declare a total amount received which corresponds to a tax of 60 pounds...

This is THE solution.

Yes, you can.

Just show the court that you have the disc (and the dated receipt for it, if you still have it) and explain that the disc fell off without your knowledge.

Don't bother you weren't done for not having tax it was for not displaying it which is a wholly separate and single offence in it's own right.

you could try - but non displayed tax has been proven time after time after time. Waste of your time and money. Pay the fine and bite the bullet.
