Maybe. Block & Hewitt are offering loans based upon your final pay stubs. However you generally need to be credit worthy to get the loan. Not necessarily a 750 FICO, but if your credit is in the dumper you'll be turned down. |

With a pay stub, you can apply for a line of credit. The loan that you are talking about is RAL, Refund Anticipated Loan, which will not be available until January 16th. And applying for RAL requires your W-2 because the tax preparer has to actually prepare your tax return and determine your refund if any. The loan amount will be based on your refund amount minus bank fees and tax preparation fee.
As for the line of credit, the tax preparer use your pay stub to estimate your refund but he/she doesn't actually prepare your return, it's just an estimate. In most cases, the max amount for line of credit is about $1000. Call your local Jackson Hewitt or HR Block to ask for more detail. |
