If you are commiting fraud you would get in trouble with the FBI.
Then no-as long as your mother knows and is okay with it then it doesn't matter. They don't care who pays it as long as it's paid. The IRS is only concerned with your income. There is no law saying someone can't pay a credit card for you. |

With your mom's permission, these are GIFTs to you.
If the total gifts for the year are $12,000 or more, your mother (not you) has to file a gift tax form. This is form 709. The amount over $12,000 is a taxable gift, but she doesn't start paying taxes until she gets to $1Million in gifts. |

No but you can get in trouble with your Mother and the law if she decides to press charges. Grow up and get a job. |

depends. does your mom sign the checks and know what you are doing? your mom can pay your bills if SHE wants to, otherwise it's forgery and you can serve either state or federal time (because the bank is FDIC). |

As long as the credit card bills are getting paid, then that's all they care about...they don't care who pays it. So, no. |

You can if you are using your mother's bank account without repaying her. If you aren't paying her back, $1 for $1 then it can be considered as gifts or income. If it is considered gifts or income then you have to report it. If you aren't paying her back and you aren't reporting the payments as income then you are defrauding the IRS. |
