No, you need to get a duplicate copy of your W-2 from your employer. You have to have it in hand to file a legal return. |

 |
No. Your W2 is your official wage and tax statement and contains the employers' ID numbers which you will need to submit on your income tax returns. Plus you need to file those W2s with your tax returns. All you need to do is contact your employer for another copy of your W2. |

No, you cannot file a tax return just using your last pay stub.
If you lost your W-2, contact your employer(s) and have them issue you another one. If you cannot get through to them (out of business, moved, etc) or they refuse, you can fill out a
substitute W-2 to file with your return. On the substitute, you will need to explain all the steps you went through to obtain a copy from your employer.
Since W-2s are not required to be sent out until Jan. 31, the IRS will not accept returns with substitute W-2s until mid February. |

You will need to get another W-2 from your employer.
There is a form one can use if they cannot obtain a W-2. That form, however, can only be used after repeated attempts to get a W-2 from your employer. Since W-2s are not even required to be distributed until 1-31, the form cannot be used until after that date at the minimum. |

No, either find your W-2 or ask your employer for a replacement. |

If you can't get another W-2, which you need to file with your tax return, go in person to the local IRS and they can give you a printed statement which has all the necessary info on it so you can file. |

Yes you can just make sure it has all the year to date info on it |
