It depends on the locality. I am not aware of anywhere that local taxes can be paid on-line. Whoever said they are filed with the state is not correct. At least not in OH. |

Of the locations that I am aware of the local tax is filed with the state income tax. If your state allows e-file then you should be able to also file a local tax that way. Almost ever taxing agency has a Internet site that explains how you can get "your" money to them in a timely fashion. |
