Can you figure this out?
i made 356.00 in 2006. i paid 320.00 per month for lot rent for 6 months will i get anything back from goverment?
If you only made $356 in the year you do not have any tax to pay. However, if the IRS ever finds out that you have been paying $320 per month in rent, they are going to wonder how you managed it. Make sure you have records to satisfy them.

Sorry to give you a good answer I would need more information that you should not post on the internet.

you may qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit. If so, you can get a credit of approximately $20. if you owe zero tax, this amount will be refunded to you.

Ignoring the 356 vs 320 issue, you didn't say if you sent any money to the IRS in the first place. In order to get anything back, you had to send something in.

you need to provide more info.. but, possibly the gov't will not refund you since rent is not a tax deductible item.. otherwise i'd be much better off
hope this helps

chances are no but look into it anyway, paying for rent anyway don't give back much to begin with!!!

I don't think you are allowed to claim lot rent. Then again, you also don't owe any taxes on any amount under 7500
May I help You?
It is impossible to pay $320 per month for 6 months with income of only $356 for the year.
The IRS may give you a call - or letter sooner than you think.
