No. You will get your W2s, 1099s, etc., in the mail from your employer sometime in January. It it contains all the numbers and info you need. Your W2 will have a specific number on it that you will need to file your taxes, etc.
I know; I am dying to file mine too, but it wont be more than a couple of weeks.
Hang in there!

No. You have to wait for your W-2 form plus anything else that comes in mail regarding taxes. Wait till Feb. 15. That's the deadline for everyone to get what you need in the mail.

No, legally you have to have your W-2 before you can file your tax return.

I don't think so. You'll need the proper forms that the government mails out in January.

I don't think so, but you can do the paperwork ahead of time and then when the W-2s come in you will be all ready to go.

I heard you can use them to get an estimate of what to expect. However, I think you need your official W-2 to file your taxes.

Yes you can file taxes with your last paystub but its better to have your W-2. I have do this when i was in Navy. But check with person who does your taxes!

I filed mine online with only a paycheck stub! You never have to send in if you file online. You do have to buy the softwear, Turbo Tax is the one I used. Just be sure you have all the correct info before filing. You can always amend if you mess up. Some of those tax places can do it for you, but at a pretty big price!
