$4632
$2432 is EIC
$1000 is additional child tax credit
$1200 the taxes you paid in
resulting in $4632 |

You'll get back all of the Federal income tax withheld, plus around $4,000 or so from the EIC and probalby something on the Additional Child Tax Credit.
If you only have one child there will only be 1 dependent on your return. You'll get 2 personal exemptions, one each for you and your husband in addition to the one for your child. |

Go here ... http://www.hrblock.com/taxes/tax_calculators/index.html Its the h&r block tax refund estimator. I do it every year and its always right.. right down to the dollar, as long as u enter everything in correctly.. i entered the information u provided and it shows u should be expecting $4,632.. try it.. enter the exact amount ur husband made and the exact amount he paid into taxes and u'll get the correct amount. |

You are definately in the money this year! Go to freetaxact.com & file on line. It's completely free- even to submit electronically. Its also very easy- just read each question & fill in the answer. If you are nervous about making a mistake you can do the forms & print them out for someone to look at before you actually file it but at least you will know what your refund will be. My guess is around $5000.00. It is amazing what a baby will do for tax refunds!
Good luck! |

So you only have 1 child? $20,000 minus $3400 times 3 for 3 people and you get $9800. Then you take that number and subtract the standard deduction for married filing jointly and you get a negative salary ($10,700 is standard deduction). So you pay no tax at all. You will be refunded the $1200 in full, plus the EIC amount. Sorry I have no experience with EIC persoanlly!! Go to www.irs.gov and look up the EIC table, you can search it. |

its hard to say, you would need to do the tax forms. it depends on how much money your husband made, not paid in taxes |
