Using a calculator:
123.95 X 1.0825 = ?

Broadcast Engineer

123.95 multiplied by 1.0825

Run that through your computer's calculator and get:

134.175875

which must be rounded to 134.18 which is your answer.

badfish
134.18
Just multiply the total by 1.0825 and that will give you the total

123.95 X 1.0825 = $134.18

--JaJaBoR--
ok on the calculator put 123.95 then push X (times) button then put 8.25, then push % button thats the total tax(10.22), now press + button then press = button you'll see the total tax included price, which will be 134.17.

netsirk20
The tax will be $10.23 therefore making your total $134.18

KD
Take 123.95 times 1.0825. That is you answer. Basic, grade school math there- nothing tricky about it!

ceskazbrovka32
I wouldn't pay an 8.25% tax on a life jacket if I were drowning.
What kind of Soviet Gulag has a Tax like that.
Take your money and get a bus ticket out of there.

fluke
multiply 123.95 times .0825. that is the tax. then add it to the 123.95

Multiply 123.95 by .0825 - that is the tax amount (10.225875) round off to next penny - last digit is a 2, next a 5 which means round up to a 3. so your tax is 10.23. Add that to 123.95 and you have a total of $124.18. simple really! Just remember that the tax is a 'percentage' and you always use a decimal point in front of it (it's X amount of 100 if that helps?)

nitasz
123.95 * 1.825 =226.20875

Adum
I dont think its 8.25% tax, but then total would be 1022.59
