Contact your State Department of Labor. They can tell you what your employer is allowed to do legally in your state. And if a violation is committed they will tell you how to make a claim against your employer to get your money. |

Absolultely not. Ask for it and if he refuses, you can take him to court. that is time you worked and by law, you should be paid for it.
If he doesn't pay you, let him know that you will file a complaint with the federal labor board. |

Only if you signed some kind of agreement in advance that you agreed to this. Otherwise, no - but you may have to sue him in small claims court to get it back. |

An employer cannot withhold pay for time actually worked.
If you have "earned" vacation, sick, or personal time, an employer does not have to pay you for these whether you give two weeks notice or not, under non-union circumstances. Vacation, sick, and personal time are not labor issues and the DOL doesn't look at them.
If you have a handbook, it is probable that the payment of "accrued" time off is addressed in there. Often an employer will not pay for accrued time if no notice is given. |

I would say no. But if there was a contract involved they probably could. |

It all depends on if you had a contract with your employer or not. If not, I would suggest contacting your state labor board. |

No. If he tries to do so, contact a lawyer or legal aid. |

Absolutely not...they have to, by law, pay your for hours you have already worked. The only consequence of not giving two weeks notice is that they may give you a bad reference for your next job. |

NO...you have already worked for and earned that money. its yours. |
