The only thing that IRS has stated is that it would start DD April 28, and that 800,000 ppl will get their rebates on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and they will prepare a batch of 8,000,000 for Friday(5/2). It has made no suggestion that all DD will be made by May 2. |

You can only find the note on the Internal revenue Services website, stating that all direct deposits will be complete a week earlier.
They then give the previous time table, and it's up to you to do the math.

Since Yahoo isn't letting us post IRS links (when I do it gives me a 999 error) all I can tell you is yes they have moved up the dates from the 16th to the 9th...but it is pretty complicated...they are takng the 1st group and breaking them up into 2 weeks mailing so they will start the 1st group and start mailing them 5/9 and that group will all be mailed by 5/16...the next group they will start mailing on 5/16 and they will all be mailed by 5/23.
It is kind of like how they moved up the direct deposits...they moved it up for SOME people but not everyone (not sure why, doesn't make a lot of sense, just causes confusion, but you know the government is not happy if they aren't causing confusion!)... |
