Claiming unborn child on taxes?
A lady at work said I can claim my unborn baby on my taxes, is this true? It didn't sound right to me...
Absolutely NOT! You can only claim a child that was born before 12/31/2008 on your 2008 taxes. Now of course you still have the 2009 tax year to look forward to. Maybe that's what she meant? At least I hope so. Congrats on the baby!
