Employers are required by law to send W-2's to every employee every single year. However, you may not have received it yet because they don't have to mail them until 1/31. They might not have mailed them out yet (and most employers wait until the very last minute). |

They shouldn't, but they don't have to have it postmarked until Jan. 31st, then you have mail time. Sit tight for a bit, it is probably coming, but if you are worried, just call them and ask. |

W-2 forms have to be in the mail by Jan. 31. You should get it next week. If you don't, contact them for a copy. |

They could. They could also be fined $50 per instance.
If you lose the W-2, they must send you a replacement on request, but may charge for it. |
