Sorry Sophie Mrs. Fountain is right...my last 2 are 00 and i also received that same letter on the 12. It states that the check are scheduled to be mail on May 16. Nothing wrong with wishful thinking though. I had that same wish....lol. But we should receive them by Tuesday if we are lucky for those of use who didn't get it today or maybe tomorrow if they were really mailed early.
Sorry u were correct I just went and got my letter and it does say BY the 16...so where is my check!!! Hopefully in tomorrows mail. But when I go to the site it say:
Your payment of $ is scheduled to be mailed on May 16, 2008. If you do not receive the check by June 13, 2008, please contact us again. |

i got the letter on mon and yes 2 day i got the payment in the mail, ssn is 01 and live in Texas! good luck 2 u! |

i got it in the mail today!! i also received the letter on the 12th stating how much and by when. it said by today it would be there and it was. my husbands ss is 01 so thats what they went by since we filed married jointly. are u sure your mail has come by already. dont worry its coming...i know it sucks to wait. and now i have to wait for my husband to get out of work so we can go cash it. lol |

Based on the schedule, I filed back in feb, got my refund in feb via direct deposit, my last two are 23. based on all of this criteria, I should have gotten mine on the 9th and I still dont have it, so I wouldnt hold your breath. |

My number should be up. I was happy to see it would arrive on the 16th of May. Still waitng.. The calculations for ss numbers is obviously not accurate..... |

I am sure that they mailed it by you gotta take in to consideration that the mail runs slow....really slow. I would give it until tuesday until I would be upset. |

i got my notice on the 10th. it also stated "you can expect your payment by 5/16/08. mailman came today and...NOTHING! |

I called the Irs and they said the paper checks would only go out on the 16th and it should take 5-7 days but we will probably get it by Monday or Tues the latest.

I got the same letter on May 12th to expect my check by snail mail on May 16th. My last 2 are "34" and I didn't receive anything yet. |

The website says that your check will be MAILED on or before the 16th so actually expect it in a couple days. It never said that it would get to you on that specific day.

I GOT THIS LETTER IN THE MAIL FROM THE IRS. IT WAS ADDRESSED FROM ATLANTA, I LIVE IN FLORIDA, AND IT SAYS I SHOULD GET MY REBATE BY THE 16TH OF MAY. THEN IT GOES ON TO SAY IF I DON'T GET IT WITHIN IN SIX WEEKS I SHOULD CONTACT THE IRS. YET THEIR SCHEDULE SHOWS THAT I SHOULD GET IN MORE THAN 6 WEEKS 8 TO BE EXACT MY LAST TWO #'S ARE 64. I BELIEVE THAT SCHEDULE IS CRAP!! iFV ANYONE GOT THAT LETTER ON THE 12 TOO LET ME KNOW IF U GOT THE LETTER THEN GOT YOUR REBATE PLEASE.

If one more person answer this darn question with the IRS schedule I am going to scream.... Do people know how to read. The question is... Did anyone receive their stimulus check in the mail. People know when the checks are due to come out. EVERYONE knows the date. Some broke people and some no so broke people just want to see if you got yours yet. From reading their are people who have received theirs and some who have not.

I received mine by direct deposit today, 5/16. I requested my tax refund to be directly deposited to my bank account before, so it's nice that they also deposited the stimulus check. |
