Did anyone do their taxes online through H&R Block or Turbo Tax and had direct deposit receive thier stimulus?

TINA R
i did and got my fees taken out of my refund, which was directly deposited. since i had the fees taken out of my refund, i will recieve a paper check.

SisterSue
I used HR Block and had my returns deposited into two accounts...and I think I paid their fee out of the return, so I am screwed...I get a fricking paper check over a month from now.

♥ Brown Eyed Girl ♥
I used H&R Block , online, direct deposit and received my stimulus payment today as scheduled (not early)
I paid my fees for filing with my credit card.

Yes, I used Turbo Tax (last 2 SSN "70") paid fees with credit card, got my DD today!

AZ_Gypsy
I used Turbo Tax online edition....paid my fee's with a debit card and I got my stimulus rebate today as a direct deposit. Last 2 digits of social were 71 so it was right on time with the first schedule they ever put out.

miss capricorn
I also used hr block online. according to their website if you had to pay and the taxes owed were taking out of your account you will recieve dd. i payed my fees with my credit card. so it did not go through a 3rd party bank. the website also has up to date info starting with april 28. my si scheduled for the 16th. i hope i get it soon.

Ok,

Per the LYING NO GOOD IRS/GOVERNMENT....they NEGLECTED to tell folks from the BEGINNING....that if you paid a "fee" like thru Turbo Tax, paying the fee out of your income tax check, then that is not considered "direct deposit" it is considered a "wire transfer" and if u had a rapid refund....same thing. So, that means A LOT of folks did not get a check! There are a majority of people that get there taxes done thru Turbo Tax or H & R block, who have it refunded ASAP, so if u did any of the above....you will not get a check until June/July/August. So thanks to our no good government....they screwed us AGAIN! Oh just FYI, they just so happened to put that info online recently....it has not been there from the beginning....I know, I checked quite frequently...see how sneeky they are...!

Q. I want to choose direct deposit for my 2007 tax refund. Where do I find the “routing” number required by the IRS?

A. For a checking account, you can find the nine-digit routing number on the face of your check to the left of your account number. For other types of accounts you should obtain the routing number from the account provider. Make sure you double-check both the routing and account numbers when putting in your direct deposit request. Keep in mind that whichever account you choose for the direct deposit of your tax refund is the account into which the IRS will deposit your stimulus payment.

Q. I chose direct deposit for my 2007 tax refund but also requested a refund anticipation loan (RAL) from my preparer. How does that affect my stimulus payment?

A. Taxpayers who use RALs or enter into any other loan or financial agreement with their tax professional cannot receive their stimulus payments by direct deposit and instead will get a paper check.

Q. I chose to have my tax refund deposited onto a "stored value card" or debit card through the professional tax preparer I used. Will my stimulus payment be directly deposited onto that same stored value card or debit card account?

A. Yes, unless you requested a refund anticipation loan (RAL) through your tax professional, or the stored value card or debit card account has been closed, in which case you will receive your economic stimulus payment by paper check. [Updated 4/30/08]

Q. Will the IRS allow me to provide it with direct deposit information, if I didn’t include that information on my original tax return?

A. Depending on the timing, you may be able to call the IRS to stop a direct deposit. But you cannot correct direct deposit information or request a direct deposit after a return has been filed. [New 4/14/08]
