My tax refund on sbbt said, 1/25/08. The Irs said, 1/29/08 and when I check sbbt bank, they said, my refund will be deposit the following friday. I assumed that they send them out on Thurs. and it should be in by Friday 1/25/08 instead of 2/1/08. Is anyone else getting this when they check? |

The IRS funded my refund on 01/24/2008 (A DAY BEFORE THE ACTUAL DEPOSIT DATE) to SBBT AND MY TAX Preprarer printed my check the same day!
WOW! last year I waited a month after the anticipated deposit date.

I dont wanna panic but this is completly krazy and for some odd reason why do i feel some type of Guilt or Fear when the refund is mine and i filed with proper truthful information? anywayz I pray we all get our refund this Friday i filed on Jan 12th and been watching Irs.gov and Sbbt.com website repeatedly over and over as if is an addiction i hate! when i go to irs.gov to pull up my information as usual now it gives me nothing and on Sbbt.com It says that horrible message that my Refund want be deposited until next friday *BS* i am 100% i will have my Full Refund this Friday Jan 25th.. |

I don't bank with SBBT either but use them for efile and I am getting the same answer so i called the irs and they said mine will be DD on 01/25/2008 and they even gave me my account# and routing # that they are using for SBBT to fund to my bank, called sbbt back and told them all this, now they say mine is to be DD on 01/25/2008, funny how their story changed after i told them i have talked to IRS.... |

I am getting that message too. But I called SBBT and they said as soon as the IRS makes their deposit then they will put it into my checking account. But I really hope they deposit it before the banks' cut off time at 2pm. Just hold on tight and wait for friday. |

I was getting this too but I check this morning and now SBBT website says it received notification from IRS my direct deposit will be available on January 25th. I expect my refund tomorrow. |

Mine said the same thing yesterday. I called SBBT this morning and they said they have received my funds and they are pending to be transferred to my bank and that I should receive the funds tomorrow morning.
I am concerned because last year they said they had a glitch and was not able to direct deposit my check and I had to wait on them to mail a check. We will wait and see. |

Hi there, I have not used SBBT for a few years but I remember always having this issue with them when I used them. But I do know that every year that I used them I got my money on the same day that the IRS said I should expect it. I have heard that SBBT sends out the refund to your bank right after they recieve it and most get it the same day. Good luck and hope that you get your refund on Friday. |

First what does ssbt mean? Secondly, check with IRS again and see what it says. It may say that it will be deposited on 1/25. |
