The checks are project to be mailed starting May 2nd. So know one has received them yet. And it will depend on how you received your money via check or deposit.
May 2nd or May 16th is when yours should be mailed out. |

I believe that the stimulus checks were scheduled to go out Friday, May 2nd. However, they decided to move up the release date to today (04/28).
Your banking institution should have no effect on when you receive your stimulus check. (If your check is direct deposited.) |

I am not 100% sure as to this, has anyone took in to consideration as to what state the people live in that recieved their check already. I say this because it seems people with ss# 02 and them some higher such as ss#68 have recieved theirs, therefor maybe it is by state also. Anyone who recieved theirs what state are you in also? |

I read this morning that they were going to start the Direct Deposit today. If you received your refund by direct deposit then you should (o2) be top of the list to receive but if you received a check, that isn't being mailed out yet. I think it would depend on the bank also. |

Well the direct deposit is supposed to happen today for someone with your last 2 digits. Maybe your banks processing time will factor into it as well. |

No, Not yet. I filed my taxes by electronic the first wk in February. I received a letter from the IRS stating I was getting a rebate check also. My last two numbers are 08 and I have checked my account and the $$$$$ is not in yet. Maybe the IRS is having trouble |

I believe they have just been sent out today, 4-28-08. I would wait a day or so, you should get yours at the top of the list since you social is 02. |

I believe there is also another factor - it depends on what form you used to file - I think the 1040 EZ people get their rebate first. Then 1040 A, and so on... |

My digits fit into the first wave of payments, and if you go to the IRS website, click on "where's my refund" you will see a link to "where's my stimulus payment" click on that. It will ask you for your social, filing status and number of exemptions from your 2007 tax return. It told me the amount and when the money would be deposited in my account. |

My last two is 00 and I used Direct deposit. Nothing is working in my favor as what was told to me in the news. I don't think this has anything to do with your bank at all.
I surely wish they wouldn't have told us that we may get our checks starting 4/28/08 because this is making me overly anxious and driving me crazy checking my account every hour to only be disappointed. I HATE THIS. But at least I'm not alone. This seems to be the question of the day.
Crystal, I agree. It must have something to do with who they think need the money the most. What state? Area? That was my question today. |

if you filed your taxes with direct deposit it goes to the bank, if they mailed you your check, you will get this one the same way |

It would be really nice if they (IRS) would update the payment schedule online so that we could stop racking our brains trying to figure out how they are distributing them because it is apparent that it is not being done solely based on the last 2 digits of your social. |

Sounds like a lot of your answerers have not heard that they have moved the dates closer. If last 2 #s of ss are 00-20 (which mine are) and you got refund by direct deposit - they are supposed to hit today. It seems that no ones have yet. My bank said if they are transmitted today they will show at midnight tonight. |

No refund yet here either. I know it does depend on your bank for sure. My employer deposits my paycheck on a certain day each month and my bank sometimes takes a day or so longer then everyone else who is employed by the same employer but using a different bank. It seems like I am always the last to get paid but its really because my bank takes longer to actually put the funds into my account its a bunch of bs but thats how banks work... some of them atleast. But you can call and see if the direct deposit is pending the bank typically has that information. I would suggest checking periodically throughout the day to see if your deposit shows up I know when its the government things sometimes show up at odd times and not always exactly when your bank opens. |

Mine is 02 and as of wed 4-30 nothing, they must be doing something crazy like starting at 20 and going down to 00,
it could be by state also, but you would hope that the might say something if it was anything other than 00 to 20 |

My last digits is 02 too.. And nothing yet I even called my bank and they weren't sure if it was gonna go straight in or wait until midnight!! But how are some people with last digits higher than mine already got theres?? I qualify I got my letter and I went to the website! But still nothing YET!!! |

My last two numbers are 01 and no check for me yet. I have friends i work with and there numbers are 05, 10, 21 and they got theres on Monday (4/28)? Go and figure. |

most money depostited in an account of almost every bank holds the check until midnight of the next day because it has to clear therefore it wont post until midnight to night. it should be in there in the morning if you direct depostited your tax return that is if you paper filed and recieved a check in the mail then you have to wait until may 9 when they mail the checks hope this helps |

It depends on if you filed it by mail or electronically,as to what has been on television all week people who filed their taxes electronically will get there direct deposit and on May 9th,the IRS,will start sending out the rest,It was on the New,Internet,IRS-website,the newspapers how'd did you miss all of that! |
