I received my Stimulus check yesterday in the mail.
I live in Western PA.
My SS# ends in 10.
I got the letter stating i would receive it on 5/23..of course I think they mean mailed on 5/23.
I used H&R block RAC. (so i of course didnt get DD).....
The check was mailed from Austin, TX.
It was for the full amount that the website said i would get.
I am in default on my student loan, however it is almost paid off, I have my wages garnished...
Just giving out some info for people waiting on checks..!!
SO THEY ARE BEING SENT OUT !! yay...

Miss Jenn, I was starting to think we were the last 2 number 10's in the world who didn't get theirs yet. I am in IL no mailman yet so you have given me hope that it will be there today. I know a lot of people put a lot on how/when you filed. Let me put this tidbit out there. I filed "electronically" through a tax preparer and had my REFUND (not Refund Anticipation Loan - the actual IRS refund) by February 7th. It doesn't get much earlier than that and I still don't have my stimulus check! P.S. For those who can't wait to get their regular tax refunds back, the IRS will tell you what the FIRST day you can file your taxes is, that is the day I make my appointment for and I always get my return the within two weeks. It is a nice way to pay off those Christmas bills :)
UPDATE: I got it! I really, really got it! LOL |

Nope, didn't get it. My hubby's SS# ends in 1 !!! We did get a letter last week saying we would have it by the 31st. Check on me to see if I'm still alive, cuz I'll be holding my breath until then! |

Thanks Miss Jenn I received mine yesterday also. I filed TT with the fees taken out. My SS ends in 11 and live in Michigan. I got the 2nd letter on May12th saying the check would be mailed by 05/23/2008 |

My hubbys social ends in 07 and the IRS said that we would be mailed out by 5/16.
Now 5/28 and still not a thing in the mail!!
It would be nice to know if anyone else from the 5-16-08 has not yet recieved thier check??

Just a suggestion for those who are getting their check by mail.. why don't you file your taxes electronically? That way your check would have been automatically deposited into your checking account, no waiting. We received our stimulus check on the exact date it said for electronic filers. |

I can't wait to get mine to pay off some bills. Yay, enough to cover this month's credit card bills! If only we got 12 of these checks then I would have my whole year covered! |
