Did you get your rebate check?
I make around $30,000 dollars a year and I'm single, if you got your rebate check how much did you get if you have the same filling status as I do.
Go to the IRS site and they calculate it on there for you. They also tell you how much you will get back. They base the rebate amount on your earnings. They base when you will get the check on the last two digits of your social security number.

I have not yet received it but I am looking forward to it. You should get about $600.00 since you are single and have no dependents. I swear sometimes I think I am being punished cause I am single and have no children. But it is all good I will take $600.00 over nothing!
Radar Man
if no one can claim you as a dependent then you should get a $600 rebate.
Don't spend it all in one place.

It's a fixed amount for most people -- single filers get $600, married get $1,200.

Everyone who earned at least $3,000 last year will receive $600 minimum; there's more for any children if you're part of a family. Your income bracket has nothing to do with the size of the rebate check.
The date on which you receive your rebate is determined by the last 2 digits of your Social Securiy number; and if you filed requesting direct deposit of any refund you might have had this year, your money will come in the next week or so. Otherwise, it will come sometime later this month.
