That is adding insult to injury is it not. I don't know if they do that here in the UK? Mine is due (£100!!) i think i will just go to the Post Office to be on the safe side!

'Champagn' is certainly correct, it costs nothing extra, I've just done mine and also did it last year, you are wrong my friend.

They make you pay what the credit card company charges them, simple as that. All part of the privelidge of paying by credit card.

Every time you pay for anything by credit card the card company charges the retailer about 2 1/2 % of the transaction. Most retailers accept this because they want your business, but why should the tax payer accept it on your behalf!!??

I didnt know that but I suppose if we didnt have all these charges the Blairs wouldnt be able to buy them house flats & holidays in Florida & Italy.

So be glad that you paid the extra £2.50

every little helps.

I paid by debit card over the net and there was no charge
I think they only charge for credit cards thats in the U.K.

We pay by debit card over the net everytime and have never been charged any extra, we would know if we did as we scrutinise all bills after being ripped off once too aften.

Thats if you use a credit card.Debit cards are no charge....I always pay by debit card.
