Wow, I am so surprised that they didn't just deposit the full amount. I had never heard of this happening before, it's either yes or no, not maybe for how much you are going to get back.
But one other person had this happen, a question I saw earlier this week. Must be the new thing this year? |

It depends on what company you used. Turbo Tax online sends
all of the money at one time. My boyfriend used H & R Block--
they gave him a gift card with half the money and send the rest
four days later. You need to check with your tax service. |

I suggest you go to the IRS.gov and check out the online tools on the left side of the screen. There is one titled "Where's My Refund?" You can trace your refund and what happened to it. |

No I am sure they send full refund. |

No, what you see is what you get. You should get something in the mail explaining why you didn't get what you expected to, unless you had already been notified that part of your refund would go toward something like overdue taxes or child support, or defaulted student loans. If you don't have anything like that, sounds like the IRS computers found a mistake in your return and corrected it for you, and that changed your refund. |

not likely-check back with the tax program ( toll free # or website) or person/accountant you had do your taxes, or, if yourself, did you receive any messages or letters advising of the difference? From my experience, all is deposited not split. |

if they would deposit money they would put it all at once in your account. |

Did you do your own taxes or you go to a tax preparer. If you went a tax preparer did you opt for their "get your refund now?". That cost extra. If
If you choose to wait , the IRS gives you every penny, and you pay the preparer fees. |

I've never heard of a partial or split up refund unless they reran your figures and came out with a different refund amount. Sorry. |

I got mine back all at once.....remember, depending on the service you used (I used tuebo tax), they take fees out. |

For larger deposits it's possible they may make a couple deposits within a few days of each other. Make sure you didn't have it going to 2 different accounts and have it split up. |
