You do have to claim your tips as income. Most dancers will file a schedule C, self employment. There are probably expenses that you have out of pocket for your job. Costumes and such. If your employer issues you a 1099-misc, you will fill out a schedule C. |

Yes, tips are considered income. You should be making quarterly estimated payments to the IRS and state (if applicable). |

Yes, tips are taxable because it is income. All income is taxable. Just remember that whatever money you receive, the government will want part of it. |

you are supposed to pay taxes but if the business owners doesn't pay you with a regular paycheck or send you a 1099 Misc. income statement then sounds like no! |

if you declare it on your taxes yo must pay taxes, if you list your profession, check with your assoicates , the IRS may expect a "token" amount to be declared as they know you get tips.
Same as waiter, what you claim and get is your bussness. |

I don't think so, since your tips varies every night..anyway, check with your tax office, tell them you rec'd tips as a waitress, so do you need to declared your tips? |

No, they are tips. They are what you bring home directly, not on a check stub. |
