No. You receive income when you work in the United States or its territories, whether it is reported to the IRS or not. |

You receive income when you get a job. citizens don't get paid for being citizens. |

Not for just being a citizen. |

If you want to get paid a stipend just for being a citizen, move to Kuwait...
If you become a citizen in the US you have to work to make money... unless you defraud the welfare system (in which case you're a scumbag and we'll all hate you) or you become a CEO and pay people to work for you (in which case you're a scumbag but libertarians love you and I hate you). |

I'm not aware of people receiving an income just from becoming a U.S. citizen! Ours is an economy where the individual is paid in exchange for _-WORKING-_.

No, you do not receive money. But you may receive tax additional benefits later when you retire. Also, when you become a citizen it is more difficult for the government to export you should you be accused of a crime. |

Of course you will want to obtain a job in this wonderful Country full of opportunities. You can achieve all of your dreams here, if you work hard and aspire to!
You do, of course, qualify for Government help if you truly are in need of it. There are programs to help people get on their feet. You do have to show you are trying to be self supporting though. If you have no food, there is a food allowance given, there is also local food banks in your town that you live in. You can also find a lot of assistance for finding a job and schooling.
You will find that the more effort you put into becoming a successful citizen, the more will be given to you! |

No, you need a job. And a rather good one to be able to afford to live in the United States if you're by yourself. Becoming a U.S. Citizen doesn't entitle you to money, but it allows you to EARN money through a job, that you would not otherwise be able to obtain without U.S. Citizenship. |
