go to www.entitledto.co.uk

It will tell you if you're entitled to any kind of tax credit.

Hope this helps =)

Miss Typo!
yes up to around 30,000 combined is the limit for recieveing tax credits.
go to your local job centre or go online to apply, what u get depends on ur income and ages of children(u get more for under 1's)

Mrs GC
It would depend on what you both earn combined but generally yes, if you work between 16 and 30 hours a week you are eligible for WTC

andrea b
Do not go to Jobcentre or apply on line to claim this, it's a Inland Revenue payment & you need to contact them to get a form 0845 300 3900

Go to the Revenue's own site at http://www.taxcredits.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/HomeNew.aspx to work through the criteria on whether you qualify. It is very helpful

Am sure that if you earn more than £16,000 annually you're not entitled to anything unless you have children, but ask anyways!
