Do you get taxed on a tax rebate?
I am due a tax rebate, but would I be taxed on the money the I receive?

No you won't be taxed on your rebate. A rebate is tax that you've already over paid - there is no tax due on the rebate amount.

NO: All future tax will be on income that is earned in a new time frame. The tax rebate is for income that you earned in the year pased.

No it is not taxable, a tax rebate is exactly what it says on the tin lol. You must have overpaid tax at some point and the amount the HMRC have calculated will be paid to you in full. So dont worry get started on planning what you're gonna spend it on!

jokerman131
dont be silly / a tax rebate is a rebate of over payed tax
