Some insight would be great. I looked on "wheres my stimulus?" but it showed no info. I took my taxes to a private accountant but not sure if he used turbo tax, do most private accountants use that as a resource? Please let me know if you have dd and received your deposit or any info on it. My last two digits are 36 |

This is weird, BUT DH is 49 and I tried using WMSR online this morning...it said error. However, I called the 800-829-1040, pressed 7, 1 (for English), 2 and then ss#, filing status, and exemptions, and it told me that it would be DD on Friday, May 9. It appears that one has updated, and the other hasn't.
Try calling that number and see if it offers any different information.

I'm still waiting...ss#36 also...my mom got hers on Tuesday (last 2 are 21) and I have heard of people in the 70s already receiving theirs! I'm not sure how they are actually going about it, but it can't be entirely by ss#!!! Be patient, the website and the automated telephone thing both said 5/9/08....but I never depend on the gov!!!
Also concerning the turbo tax thing, if you paid your fees out of your return then you will receive a paper check, if you paid them out of pocket then you should get the direct deposit! Hope that was helpful info! |

I have direct deposit and my last two of my SS is 55. I filed through Turbo Tax but had no fees taken out (it was free) and I went to check "where's my stimulus?" and it told me that 600.00 will be deposited on May 9th. I think that if you had your accountant take out fees from your refund then you might be receiving a paper check since the IRS website isn't giving you any information. |

My last 2 are #'s are 49, i checked several times this morning hoping it was updated but I got nothing.
I checked one more time about 15 minutes ago and It showed up finally for a DD on May 9th.Just keep checking back.
Did you pay your accountant up front for doing your taxes? If so It's likely you will get yours DD. |

wait until may 9th then check the website, my ends 37 and i did turbo tax in late feb...my coworker ssn ends in 59 ane he already got his...reason? not sure, am i worried? ask me again after may 9th. i was also scared b/c when i went to IRS website, they had no info, but as JO mentioned, you check that on or after date, in our case, MAY 9 |

Jen, You just need to wait a bit, but while your waiting, check your account where the money was deposited. If your tax refund says US Treasury 220 or something similar, you will most definitely be getting a direct deposit. If not, wait with the rest of us. I've been told by numerous resources, that they are processing 1040EZ, then 1040A, then 1040 Long Forms. So what form you used and how you filed is just as important as when you filed. |

You're not supposed to use the tool until on or after the date in the chart provided on the "payment schedule" link. (your date of payment is May 9th)
And I quote: "A new, interactive, online tool, called Where’s My Stimulus Payment?, is now available... please wait to use this tool until on or after the scheduled date of your payment as listed in the schedule (link above), since your payment information will not be available on the tool until that time." |
