Technically no, but if you had taxes withheld from federal or state, then you would WANT to file. You would be eligible to get all withholdings back if you made less than $8,750 for the year. Best Wishes. |

I think if its under $3000 in income you dont have to file |

If it is your only source of income in 2007 than NO, but if it is one of multiple sources than I would say YES. |

If that is the only money you made last year you don't HAVE to file, but it would take you like ten minutes to do, so why not? |

If that's your only income, no you don't have to file but can if you had anything withheld for federal, to get it refunded. If your total income requires you to file, or if you do file for any reason, then yes you have to include this W-2. |

Look at it this way.............you paid that tax in.......don't you want it back? Regardless of the amount??
PLUS.......the IRS may find out and question you why it is you didn't file taxes. Afterall, you had income for the year. |

If you would owe no tax (as it appears you would not) you do not have to file. That information is in the "WHO MUST FILE" instructions of your 1040(EZ). |

You must file it all. You don't want to get a nasty letter and an audit from the IRS. |
