Yes, he was completely right. Whenever you raise taxes, you take money out of the economy. When taxes are low, people spend more money, businesses grow, jobs are created. All this brings more money into the government's coffers because of a natural progression of growth. When taxes are raised, people spend less, businesses slow down or stop expanding their businesses, and no new jobs are created, and sometimes jobs are lost.
And for those of you who think they only raise taxes on "the rich", by their definition, a family of 4 making about 50,000 a year would qualify for the highest tax rates. Oh, and 95% of taxes in this country are already paid by the top 50% of wage earners...doesn't that mean that about 50% of the population pay just about nothing? HMM... |

Yes I agree, we cannot have our taxes raised, and I am sure the donald does not want that, because he will loose loads!! his casinos will loose!! no one would be able to afford to go any more, and its not just him, it would put a damper on the whole state of nevada, and all the Indian gaming as well, and loads of people would be cut back on the hours, it would be very bad!!! |

McCain will HAVE to raise taxes and eliminate the bush tax cut. The only other way to gain income it to CUT
spending and you can only cut so much. Dealing with Congress and The Senate will be almost impossible for McCain. You can clean up all the scams related to relationships with "good ole boys". |
