There was a glitch in the computer system and not everyone got the deposit on the targeted date. You should get it soon though. If you can check your bank account on line, do that cause it should be coming through shortly. You can call 1-866-234-2942 for additional information.

If you filed using something like Turbo Tax and had your original refund returned through their distribution center and then they did your direct deposit, you will have your stimulous check mailed rather than direct deposit because the IRS doesn't have your direct deposit number. This is what happend to my daughter. She expected hers this week and now won't get it until June 20. Go to the IRS web site and they have frequent questions and answers about this. |

My sister and I were both supposed to get ours via direct deposit by May 9th as well. Neither one of us have received them. My theory is that the first week they only did 20 numbers, the second week they were doing like 50 numbers and then this week they are doing like 20 numbers. I think that they overloaded themselves last week. Well I hope we all get it soon. |

May 9th is when they arrive to ur house if by six weeks of that notice u dont get anything in the mail then ur suppose to call them

u may not even get one if u filed urs last year and ur money went directly to ur bank account then the same would go for this |

ummmm they START mailing them on the dates the IRS provided for us... and those dates are pushed back even farther if you are getting a paper check and not direct deposite... I'm still waiting for my State income tax refund/ |

I do work for the IRS and the number one reason why folks aren't receiving their rebate directly deposited is that they had a preparation or filing fee for their 2007 tax return deducted from their refund. A check will be issued instead. |
