But, just in case it is.
Tell your Dad that in many Caribbean Islands you can buy and sell children. And in Somalia he can probably even sell the wife. This might give him enough to live off with his meager income and impending pension.
Dude why are you trying to pawn your Dad's stuff. If it is that serious maybe you and your Mom should start helping out by other means not figuring out how to sell stuff. Try getting a job.

I would suggest you use Ebay, because the formula used to pawn items means that you will end up with less than 25% of its value.
For heavier stuff, try local notice boards etc |

why dont you have a garage sale.
put up some signs in the neighbourhood...and then sell your sheit on the driveway...it would mean you would cut out the middle man and would more more money then just selling your crap to someone who will turn around and sell that crap to someone else |

I am going to start a book selling business. It requires some work.I am getting a cellphone with internet service. I will go to flea markets and used books stores. I can log onto www.cash4books.com. Enter the isbn of books and see if they are acceptable books. If so,l they tell you how much they will give you for it and you buy it for less than that. They pay for the shipping also. They dont take everything and some books dont pay a lot but I am going to try it. |

I don't know LA... but what I think you mean is a pawn shop, where you take valuables and exchange it for some money. I would maybe look in the telephone book listings for the shops in your area.
Be careful though, sometimes you might not get your possession back. You can also wikipedia "pawn shops" and see how the process works. Good luck. |

there are places called pawn shops but they will almost give you way less than what your items are worth... try selling your stuff on e-bay or put it in the penny saver |
