unless it's being claimed due to terminal illness then no, you'll just have to wait for it to be processed like all the others.
oh, and make sure you have filled it in as fully as possible, with evidence and examples where necessary, and sent any necessary info with it, ie. copy of medication prescription slip so there are no problems with assessing your claim.
like the other answers say it will be backdated anyway so don't fret.
if your claim is turned down make sure you go to your local CAB or welfare rights to get help with appealing the decision, do this asap as there is a time limit for appealing (think it's 1 month!) awards are often made on appeal so it really is worth doing.
good luck. |

Hi there is no way to speed up the claim it usually takes around 12 weeks and from personal experience due to dealing with my great grandmothers claim if you do phone them it gets put to the bottom of the list!!
Just try and be patient sweetheart as if you do get it you're not losing any money it's all backdated until the original date of your claim so either way you're not losing anything best of luck with it all.
Thanks!! |

The only thing you can do is send the form off as quickly as possible with all the relevant information with it, and keep ringing them.
If you are entitled to any money, they will backdate your claim to when you first applied for the full amount you should have received!
Good luck! Those forms are a nightmare!! |

Unfortunately there's no quick way to speed it up you just have to wait it out - keep phoning the department who's dealing with your claim. Hopefully it wont take you too long. |

It is not possible to speed it up.
The main reason it takes so long is down to your GP having to provide them with your medical information and his decision on whether you have or have not got mobility and care issues |

you won`t be able to speed a claim up,because they need to check all the info, send letters off here there and everywhere It takes weeks and weeks. You could try ringing, not that that would speed it up. |
