There is plenty of work out there, and let me tell you, if you really want to work, and take pride in earning your own money and providing for yourself and your family, you will take any job you can get, even if it's only for a few weeks til something else comes along. It is too easy to scrounge in this country and nothing is being done to tackle this. I've been on JSA during hard times, for a maximum of 2 months, and I've seen what goes on in job centres, it's literally, "sign this, see you in 2 weeks", and that's £46.85 upwards per week being handed out per person per week which is plain wrong. I have to go without central heating to pay my council tax. I don't get to do a lot of things I want to do, all the while, people who don't work often enjoy a better standard of living than I do, on money that has been stolen from my very hard earned pay. It's why I am considering emigrating. This country is WAY too soft and is an easy target. |

Yes, there is an underclass of scum who prefer to beg at railway stations, or sit in the street ''spare some change mate?'' - plus millions who have been on long term incapacity benefit or jobseeker allowance. Of course there are genuine claimants - but we have created a class of useless people by failing to tackle the issues that have precluded them from society.
No wonder why we let so many Polish in, and there is still 600k vacancies!! |

Yes, I`ve got three 18-19 year olds in my cul-de-sac that have never worked. Two are brothers that live next door, and the other one is their mate from across the road. I`ve no idea where they get their money from, because they`re outside my neighbours house two or three times a week drinking beer. Luckily they don`t cause any trouble but I don`t ever see them getting a job. I think they will end up the `underbelly` of society. Why their parents don`t give them an ultimation I`ll never know. If they were my kids I`d tell them to find a job within a month or you`re out! |
