Here I am sitting at the office drawing construction details with the whole office debating the word text and texted. After searching the net my conclusions are as follows:
1. The word text does exist however the past tense does not exist.
2. Your sentence I texted you on Saturday? although sounding plausible is unfortunately invalid.
3. Replacing 'I texted you on Saturday' with 'I text you on Saturday' feels incorrect.
4. My sugestion is thus to change the sentance to 'I sent you a text on saturday'.
