It will be returned to whatever return address you posted on the envelope. |

If you put your address at the top corner it should be re-routed back to you. How long that will take... I don't know. Shouldn't be too long because it probably hasn't gotten past your local post office. |

They will send the envelope back, but sometimes it can take awhile. I just got something back that I send out 2+ weeks ago. You really should just re-do them, since it's so close to the deadline. In the future, make copies before you mail them.
Good Luck! |

Not good, it was wise to ask your employer for another one. I wouldn't trust the post office, they screw things up all the time. |

Ms. Angel..

I hope you put your return address on the envelope because chances are the Post office will return it to you to place a stamp. Maybe just Maybe then let it go thru and the IRS receives it without the stamp.
Good Luck. |

Umm, if you wrote a return address on the envelope, it will be sent back to you, if you didn't, then no, you won't get it back. Though you really shouldn't be sending out important documents without making copies of them. You don't have a copy of your taxes? |

It shouldn't take long to get it back, since they will check it at your local post office... don't worry, you will have plenty of time to resend it, or just send the second one. |

They sent it back with a mark *Postage unpaid* It will come back to you.
*update* bitches why did I get a thumbs down I had a secretary send out over 100 letters and forgot to run them through the stamp machine. They all came back with a stamp postage unpaid and returned them to us. Another thought. If you hit the 15th send in your copies of your W2 with a small explanation letter. Employers have to send a copy of your W2 to IRS as well. They technically already have it. |

It will come back to you in a day or so. Simply put the correct postage on it and send it off again. You have time. |
