It's great that you got it. My number is 33 and I haven't gotten anything. No info on the irs website, no 2nd notice, nothing at all.
Did you file a 1040ez? I've heard that people that had simple forms are getting their paper checks first. There have been other posters on this site with high numbers like yours saying that they are getting their paper checks, and people with very low numbers haven't received anything.
Someone suggested on this site that they are going by when you filed, but that can't be. I filed in January and received my refund by direct deposit in January. At that time, the stimulus payment wasn't law yet. I guess if I knew that at the time that if you used turbo tax and had fees deducted, that you would have to wait for a paper check, I guess I would have paid my fees with a credit card, but I decided to take it from my refund.
When did you start getting information on the Where's My Stimulus Payment site? Was it a week before?
It's great to hear that a higher number is receiving their paper check sooner than the scheduled dates. Maybe everyone will start getting soon. I could really use it.

Could it be the last four of your social was 04? I think there must have been a typo in your original question because even according to the irs.gov website the schedule is as follows:
PAPER CHECK
Last two SSN digits: Payments will be mailed no later than (and received a few days after):
00 through 09 May 16
10 through 18 May 23
19 through 25
May 30
26 through 38 June 6
39 through 51 June 13
52 through 63 June 20
64 through 75 June 27
76 through 87 July 4
88 through 99 July 11
AND if you have direct deposit coming because you filed your taxes and had your payment sent to you via direct deposit you can expect your payment as follows:

HOPE YOU CAN HELP! I USED TURBOTAX TO PREPARE MY TAXES PRIOR TO 4/15 AND WAS ELIGIBLE FOR FREE FILE. I HAD TO PAY WHICH I DID AS DIRECT DEBIT, PROVIDING MY ROUTING AND ACCT INFO AND THE IRS ALSO HAS THIS INFO FROM LAST YEAR. MY SS# ENDS IN 94 SO I CALCULATED TO RECEIVE MY REBATE BY DIRECT DEPOSIT ON 5/16/08 BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. |

I was supposed to get mine the same day but I haven't got it yet even though I used TurboTax online with direct deposit
I paid the fees using my credit card, I didn't get a refund so I had to pay. I didn't get any letter from IRS, so far I'm still waiting. |
