I spoke with them today and was told it was processed and mailed thursday. I got a letter today (dated today..lol) saying it was mailed so hopefully i will get it by tomorow. I was just curious.

if the irs told you that your check was mailed than that is good news for you and to the rest of us, because that let's us know that we cant keep going off of the scripts that people have been posting about checks will be mailed starting may 16 and that other crap.I haven't recvd mine as of yet, but i have heard of talk of people getting them. |

Today, May 10th, I received the notice telling me how much I am going to get. It also says..."you can expect your payment by 5/16/08". I was one of the people who thought they were getting direct deposit on the 2nd but because of that whole "fees coming out of your refund" thing , i now have to wait for a paper check. |

Whoa, hold up. My pastor's wife and my best friend got their PAPER CHECK in the mail TODAY-Saturday May 10th. She was not suppose to get it for a few weeks. My mom received hers by direct deposit yesterday, but it was $300 instead of the $600 she was suppose to get. |

I have to wait on a paper check due to the whole "fees taken out of your refund" debacle with TaxAct, BUT I can tell you this...My best friend texted me today saying she got her paper check in the mail yesterday, and the last two digits of her SSN are 75....She filed taxes in January, so maybe the checks are going out based on when you filed taxes and not the last two digits. |

ya I got the same letter stating I was going to get mine by the 16th or should expect it by the 16th why didn't they just mail the check out instead?
Anyways if you weren't taxed 3,000 + from the Federal Government you were going to get half of what they were going to originally give you...
Being active duty military I am never really federally taxed as I have three children so instead of the 2100 I planed on getting I'm on getting 1500 because my wife and my payment of 600 each or 1200 married was cut in half |
