they started sending paper checks out last week
as for the people saying that they are not sending them out till july maybe you all should learn how to read because it says right on the IRS web site that they where starting to send them on the 9th.... but they started sending them earlier then the 9th

no check yet. Did receive letter yesterday confirming amount and said we should have our payment BY 5-16. Last two SS#45. Notice the letter said BY the 16th. IRS website said should be mailed by June 13th. We filed in early February and had our prep fees deducted from our refund. Maybe thats why so early. Either way great news here.

No I have not received my check. But today 5/12/08 I received a Letter stating my exact amount I will be receiving and That it will be here by the 16th..
My SS is 01
They started send Paper checks of 00-09 on May 9th....
09-20 starts May 16th......
The IRS website is not up to date with when paper check are sent out because they started early...

Not likely since the first run just went out Friday. Maybe a few folks in the metro Philadelphia area got lucky on Saturday but that would probably be it.

If you are getting a paper check they are scheduled to begin shipping them in July. They were doing everything possible to convince people to dd.
