Ok, according to the information in the IRS site, we were supposed to have our stimulus money deposited by this coming Friday. Then the President said the money was being released on Monday. all rebates will be direct deposited by friday as long as your refund came that way no matter the last 2 digits of your social.they are doing them randomly ,that's my conclusions b/c my brother got his direct deposit and his social end with 79.it's not his federal refund either b/c he got that way in january. |

Here it is early hours Thursday 5/1 EST 2:55 a.m. and we did not get ours either. We sent ours in Jan by free efile Turbo Tax. I called the IRS and they said we were among those who would get the by May 2, but I am worried because here it is Thursday morning and we did not yet. Our ssn was 01???? And yes, I would not have been concerned if Bush had not said anything, but now I am. We had planned a trip for over a year to our daughter's boyfriend's senior prom 365 miles away which is Saturday May 3. Needless to say, she is getting very distraught. Oh well this is life I suppose. |

I have not recieved anyting either and my last is 19, but I think that we should see it by fri, they were only sending them out 800,000 a day on mon , tues, and wed. None on thurs and the rest on Fri. Lets cross our fingers! |

IRS has begun to transfer economic stimulus payments from April 28, 2008, so some of you will already see payments in their bank accounts. Those who opted for direct deposit will be the first to get the rebate. Mailing of paper check will begin from May 16.

Give it some time. It was only estimated 800,000 Monday and 800,000 Tuesday, another 800,000 Wednesday...Thats not much compared to the 130 million they have to send. 5 million will be sent on Friday. Maybe you'll get yours by then. Be patient..its coming! Best of luck to you!

The announcement last week was that SOME of the payments due by Friday May 2 would come early, not all of them.
Yes, you are really screwed - you are getting some extra money that you did nothing to earn, you'll be one of the first to get it, you misunderstood that you'd get it Monday and might not get it until Friday which was when you had originally been told you'd get it? Yes, you sure are being screwed..... |
