everyone around the world is getting this email at some point, it is a scam. therefore its not just to make indian people look a fool, its to try to fraudulently obtain money from anyone they can get it from. not just indians. besides, to the best of my knowledge the only reason a courier would ask for any payment is if the item being delivered has incurred some kind of import tax, and customs in many countries don't charge import taxes on mail. |

This is a scam. Many of us get the same types of emails. You do not win something but not entering at least from a legit lottery. Stay away. SCAM alert. |

Oh, good grief, not again. This question gets asked here a couple times a day - and many people have gotten them - I've personally had several. It's just a scam, your friend didn't win anything. |

Damn these emails come in all the time.My cousin is from nepal and he was a fool to send the money and guess what he never got any lottery money rather he lost his.This is just to make you fool and take your money and somehow people get trapped in such scams.
I used to get such emails all the time ..how can someone win a lottery without participating ...why will someone give out so much money .....well just be careful these people are all frauds. |

1 note though... These are very dangerous people so avoid pointing your middle fingure at them. Also donot reply to their email. your friend will get permanently listing in their database.
The sender just mass mailed he is not sure if someone has read it. |
