I know there were quite a few expecting to get their rebates today. I could only find a few people online that have received theirs already. So I looked up info that may clear up any confusion. Yes, the rebates have started to pay out today. However, not everyone in the first wave will be receiving the rebate today. Only 800,000 people will get it today which is only about 10% of those in the first group. Then another 800,000 will be paid tomorrow and Wednesday. The remaining 5 million people from the first wave will be paid as scheduled on Friday May 2nd.

No, not yet. I think what is happening is that the irs is sending them off today so I think that our banks have to process the rebate into our accounts, so the earliest it will be in the bank is tomorrow. Hope everyone gets there money this week.. |

I thought for sure i'd have it in my account today since my last #'s are 11 . Since i've been broke, yesterday i went to the grocery store and wrote a check to buy food, now i'm overdrawn and feel sick to my stomach thinking about the overdraft fees and stuff. |

As of noon today my boyfirend recieved his direct deposit, his social ends in *10 and recieved a $500.00 rebate, I didn't know they were even coming in od numbers. Hope you guys come soon. |

Mine is 06 and I have yet to see anything in my bank account. They said that it depended on your SSN, when you filed your taxes and something else. But if that is the case, I filed my taxes at the end of January and still nothing in my account. I had heard on the news that there would be deposits for the first wave made on monday, tuesday and wednesday and then the rest done on friday. that is supposed to be for the ssn 00-22. anyone else heard anything like that? |
