According to the IRS my refund was to be deposited today. I did my taxes w/ HR Block and had the fees taken directly out of my refund, so therefore my refund will go into their account first so they can take their fees and then will be transfered into my account. It hasn't been transfered into mine yet...I think that could make it take a few more days :o(
UPDATE: I just chatted w/ H&R Block...I copied and pasted the info.

Hello! I e-filed my taxes on January 13, 2008 and they were excepted on January 14th. Initially when I checked www.irs.gov/where's my refund, it said my refund would be direct deposited on January 25th. I went back in on Friday, and it had been changed to February 19, 2008. This past Wednesday it went back to 01/25/08. It was not in my account today. Although it said to give it until 01.30.08, I called HR Block because I used simple pay. I was told that the IRS issued all of the checks to be deposited today to them(only people who use simple pay), and that they will take out the monies owed to them and deposit it in my bank by Tuesday by 12pm. She said that we should have received an email from HR Block stating that they had changed the routing number to their bank. I was not aware of this and very upset, but S*** happens, right. Hey all, yeah H & R Block is cheating people out of their money. I usually use them each year but pay for my fees out of my own bank account. Didn't do that this year and boy do I hate I didn't. Know when you go to the IRS site it is telling you they have no info until a week. I am really really pissed. |

Nope. IRS says it was deposited, bank says no & nothing coming in a midnight, either. Did you use Simple Pay?
We've always used Simple Pay through H&R Block, and have NEVER had a delay. I tried to call, and after 20 min on hold, I gave up. |

I filed on the 12th, accepted on the 15th, DD for today.
I used Block's Free File w/DD the IRS said the refund will be deposited today...and it was! It wasn't there early this morning but I just called and it's there now.
Give your bank some time as each one handles deposits differently. |

Taxcut is a bunch of BS. I will not be using there service next year nor encourage anyone else to do so. They should of informed us that it will take an extra 1-3 bus days after the 25th, but if they would of did that they would of lost a lot of business to simple pay. Just think about how much money they made off of the additional 29.95 and interest that was accrued off our money by holding it in there bank. But anyway!!! I called 1-888-482-9288 about 5 minutes ago and choose option 1. It prompts you to put in your ssn and date of birth. It advised me that my refund was approve by irs on 1/28/08(which was a lie, it was approved on 1/14/08) and that i will receive my refund with 2 bus days. Hope this info is helpful to others. |

All this is absolutely right but, am I the only one that thinks the way they do it is a load of crap??? When you do the easy pay they don't tell you UPFRONT that the refund will be deposited strait into THEIR account. Its set up to make you think that its going into yours. Not to mention that last year I did my taxes on-line using tax-cut and then decided to go into the office and just let them do it to avoid any costly or stupid mistakes on my part. As it turns out the only costly and stupid mistake I've made was to let HR do it in the first place. They simply downloaded all of the work that I had already done on Tax-cut and imported it into their work. They did Nothing and charged me $60.00 They Charge you a $29.00 (Simple-pay) fee to pay them their approximately $40.00 for the software and the State E~file!!!!! from your tax return. I could have payed next to nothing to do this myself and my return would have been in MY account today. Not being held up by HR Block. I think they should re-think the "simple pay" |

In the past they used Hsbc bank and there wasn't any delay that I could tell from the Irs to them to me. Now they use Hrblockbank and this happens. |

The person that said you can contact tax cut and they will verify if they received the deposit from the IRS they can not verify this, I talked to 13 different people today at tax cut they are trained on what to tell us and there is no system for them to look up and verify they received the deposite from the irs nor can they verify it was sent to your bank, this is a crock we are all waiting for our money and they are holding it I threantened a class action law suit today and was hung up on. They have no idea what is going on with this and are just telling people things to get them off the phone. |

I also have had the same problem using Simple Pay...but only this year it has been an issue. I have used it before with no problems. I contacted H&R and this is what they said...
PATRICK : I filed my taxes and they were accepted...IRS said they would be depoited on the 25 and the are not there as of today
PATRICK : I used the simple pay option and am wondering where my refund is

I having same trouble have not got my refund today Jan 25th. I did the simple pay. I'm a former employee of H&R Block and this is a bunch of bull about simple pay. This does not never take this much time. The advertisements says immediate deposit when IRS check is sent. I was depending on this check today. I want a refund back for this rip off service. |

I was worried about this as well. I called about 25 different places and finally got the correct answer from Taxcut, 1-888-482-9288. They can verify they received your deposit from the IRS as well. If you chose to have the fees deducted from your return like most of us, it will be another 1-3 business days. Reason being is that your refund is sent to the HR Block Bank, they take their fees, then forward the rest to your account. Hope this helps. :) |

I just called and it told me the same thing- that the irs accepted my return on the 28th- which when i go to the irs website it was approved on the 13th. so h&r block is basically holding everyone's money for 2 more days so they can make a ton of interest off of it and we will just have to wait. it really makes me mad, i was expecting my money on the 25th just like a ton of other people. I know next year i will not be using them. |

I was just on another site and they are all saying the same thing as here. He said he called his bank tonight and it is pending and should be posted after midnight. So hopefully it is on its way folks. I WILL NEVER USE TAXCUT again. This is frigin rediculous. We should not have to wait this long.

I did mine through h and r block. The irs wheres my refund site says it was supposed to be direct deposited today 1/25/08 but it apparently wasnt. So.... I remain broke! |

mines was supposed to be there on jan 25 also and its now jan 28 and i still have nothing!!!!!!!!! i wrote to live help and they say it takes 1-3 business days after the date they gave you of when it was supposed to be deposited. |

Yes. It will cost you a lot though. Better off waiting a couple of weeks rather than taking their loan. |

I efiled my taxes with H&R block on Jan 28. Had all the fees taken from my taxes, was told I would receive my money today 2/11. I still have yet to recieve it even though my status update on H&R block says your irs tax refund has been released for DD into your bank account. Please confirm with your bank the exact amount. I go to the WMR it says check back they have no info until three weeks. I am very confused. Anyone else having the same problem? |
