What about using tax act...instead of turbo tax? Will that give you a mailed check as well? EDIT: On phone with IRS now. Using Tax Act, Turbo Tax, etc...WILL cause a check to be mailed as a paper refund. Little known thing no one tells you. I spoke with two IRS agents before coming to that conclusion. The first said that as long as you had a routing number it was fine....no matter what! But they directed me to another agent who looked up my data and said that since I payed a fee through Tax Act instead of paying them up front for the service and having them take the fee out of my refund....that was third party. And voila! I have to wait 3 more weeks to get my check. So long riding lawn mower...so long new battery for laptop....for another three weeks......

My soc# ends in 17 and I had direct deposit so I was counting on it today as well. It is still not in my account so I called the IRS and found out that if you used Turbo Tax to file your taxes and had their fees taken out of your refund that your rebate check will be mailed to you on May 23rd!

I thought I would receive mine today as I fall into that group, I did not and found out that because I used free e-file software online that even though I did direct deposit I will be getting a check. The IRS says this is because when you use these free e-file services your refund is actually sent to the company direct deposit and then the company(Turbo Tax for example) deposits it in your account so the IRS has to mail the stimulus payment in the form of a check. I don't know if that is your situation or not but maybe this will help someone else.
