Has anyone received their stimulus payment in the form of a PAPER check in the snail mail before the "Where's My Stimulus" tool online or the phone number hotline stated. My ss ends in 07 and i checked the website and the hotline and said it will be mailed on May 16th which is a bit of a let down cause I heard of a lot of ppl getting their rebate paper check in the past few days. Is this info on this tool accurate or are they just putting down May 16th to pacify everyone with the ss ending in 00-10... will we get our paper checks this week also? Let me know if you rec'd yours, what the stimulus thingy said etc :) much thanks - needing this , counting on this money :D also odd is that my husband's ss ends in 36 and that tool said that he will receive his paper check...by May 16th. What the heck? Cause according to the schedule listed, he is not supposed to get his til June 6th - what's goin on?

We are still waiting as well. I am set to get a check and when I called the IRS they said that would get one mailed byt he 30th (but I think that tey are just reading off theweb site and notactully checking thier systemsas they claimed)
HOWEVER, my BF just got a check inthe amil yesterday and it web site still shows that hers will be mailed out on the 23rd. I am alittle confused about all the misinforamation that is going around. Both on here as well as when you call the IRS.

Briar answers every question and is usually kinda rude. I agree. If you are irritated with the question, DON'T answer it. Obviously there are many people who are hearing different things/stories and are just trying to get answers. I don't blame people for posting to have their ? appear recently on the list. You don't like it? Leave it alone and go about your business. No one is holding a gun to your head to force you to answer every single inquiry on here. |

Anyone that has filled to get their tax return direct deposited to their bank accounts will receive the stimulus payment sooner than the rest. Now it looks like from your post that you probably got a check in the mail for your return which means that your stimulus payment will also come thru the mail.
Also the IRS has two systems to process our returns. People that got processed on the newer system should expect to receive their rebates a week earlier than what it says on the schedule and that's what probably what explains why your husband is getting it at the same time than you.
