Yes. I think this direct deposit started about 3 years ago. At least that was when I first got my check direct deposited. It was great! I also believe I got it faster by direct deposit. |

i filed my return through turbotax on jan 18 and irs web site says it will be deposited in my account on fri jan 26 |

I have received direct deposit the last 3 years and it is wonderful. You seem to get your tax refund faster when you do it. I also receive my State refund that way. |

I filed last week and expect my Federal return to be deposited by Feb. 2. The state refund will probably take longer. |

I used turbo tax and they told me to expect a refund on Jan. 26th. The IRS website however has changed the date from Feb. 2nd until Feb 6th now. I don't know why. I've never had a problem with Turbotax, and usually their right on the money. I was wondering though, when they say the 26th, do you have to wait until the next day for the funds to post or would it show already? My refund was accepted on the 15th, and according to the IRS chart it should be the 26th. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

What day did you file and when was it accepted by the IRS? Then I'll be able to tell you when it'll deposit in your account. IRS only deposits on Friday so it'll be a Friday. |

No, and I also filed using TurboTax's online product. Similar story ... IRS accepted January 14, and now IRS website is showing February 6.
But, this gets worse ...
I managed to speak to an IRS representative that told me that my return was in their "Errors" department. Of course, she could neither tell me why, nor could she tell me when my return would be processed and direct deposit scheduled (much less completed). But, supposedly, they might be able to give me information next week. Supposedly.

Same problem here!! My tax return was accepted on the 14th and Turbo said I should get my refund on the 26th. However, the IRS site originally said the same thing and I didn't get my direct deposit today so I looked it up again on IRS and now it is saying Feb 6???
Never had this problem before, normally it is really accurate about time of refund. I am confused as to the change in IRS refund dates?
Anyone get theirs today? Anyone have this same problem? |

Refunds are usually posted on Fridays that is why if you are getting a check it shows up on Saturdays. Don't expect direct deposits before the 1st of February. They have a lot of returns to look at you know. |
