Thats right dan, The website says starting may 9th paper checks will get sent out, iam 07 and have not recieved mine as of yet. I got my notice monday saying that i should have it BY the 16th. so maybe today is the day!!! :0)

I haven't recvd mine yet and my digits are 00. I called and was told it would be mailed on may 16th, but that doesn't really make sense if the IRS site says they will begin mailing oin the 9th, here's hoping :)

Lannan...they started mailing checks out a week earlier than the schedule posted. It says so right on the IRS website. People in the May 16th category could have gotten theirs as early as this past Monday or Tuesday (5/12 and 5/13).

People should start receiving paper checks on May 16. The date that you receive your check depends on the last two digits of your social security number.
