I read today that these tax rebates may be misleading. Some tax payers will get them and some may not get them even if you qualify. It goes by the last 2 digits of your social security numbers who will get theirs first. For example, if your last two digits is between 25-38 it will be mailed out June 6 if you didn't file direct deposit. Otherwise, if you did do it by direct deposit it will be in your bank by the 6th of May or sooner. I went to the IRS website and it states I will get one but I never received a letter stating I am eligible but my son did get one and he's in the military. Its confusing this rebate. I am not going to sit waiting at the mailbox for it. If it comes it comes and if it doesn't it doesn't. I haven't received any rebate and I filed by mail.
