The IRS website said my refund was direct deposited on 1/25/2008, and I have yet to recieve my refund. I understand that it may take a little longer, but I have called HR block and they are no help. Has anyone else had this problem? |

I have had the same problem and just got off phone with HR Block. They said if you use simple pay, it takes 1-3 business days. Instead of going into your account from irs, it goes into HR Block account. Then they take out all fees and start sending refunds after that. The lady I spoke to, said that there are deposits starting today and she said to check with the bank later today or tomorrow morning. I wonder how much interest they are making on all of these refunds they are holding for these extra days???? |

I am having the same exact problem. The IRS said that mine was deposited on 1/25/2008 as well, and it still is not in my bank account. I also tried calling 1-800 hrblock and they told me that they do not have access to the information if you filed on-line. I think next year I will think twice about using HR block for my taxes. This is rediculous!! |

I am in the same boat and as of this morning still nothing.
I don't mind waiting because I understand they need thier fees. However, it's a little aggrivating because I didn't see anything saying there was additional turn around time. They should of given a heads up saying if you use this option it will take 1-3 extra buisness days after the direct deposit is sent from the IRS.
I think it's a little shady. I sure hope it shows tommorrow. |

i think that was the first batch of deposits-maybe there were some glitches-what i am hearing is that it will be 2-3 days after that date...maybe your bank can help you.. |

I so should have come on here and looked up that stupid simple pay plan. Why do I get the feeling I won't be seeing my irs refund on the 8th like its supposed to be? Great...whats the dang use paying the stupid $29.95 to HR Block if they are just going to delay your return more? |

yes I have this problem called hr block to see where my money is cause like you too the IRS site said deposited 01/25/08 they said i would receive it in 1 to 3 business days due to them taking out there simple pay fee . so don't look for it until wed 1/30/2008 they say sat and sun don't count its Fri then Monday , Tue , then yous should have you re money they had me on hold for 1 hour the number 1800hr block and choose tax cut and just hold don't enter in to filling status stuff it will just say accepted will let you know if i get it before wed |

I'm having the same problem, only I didn't file through HR block. I did however have it direct deposited on my Emerald card issued to me last year. From the phone calls I've made this morning, it looks like it will either appear today or tomorrow. (keeping my fingers crossed) |

I just received this email from HR Block Tax Cut:
"Good news!
The IRS has notified us that your tax refund is ready to be transferred to our partner bank H&R Block Bank for deposit.
As a result, H&R Block Bank has initiated the process to deposit your refund, minus fees, into your bank account. This transaction is usually completed within 2 business days, but may take additional time depending on your bank's direct deposit process. Check with your bank to confirm the deposit"
I also called their automated system at 888-482-9288 and finally got a status.. It more or less said the same thing ..
So check your email again and call HR Block.... Im so frustrated but at least its some kind of answer |
