Some people have, but I haven't yet. My, aren't we impatient! (Me, too!) This is the US government we're talking about, isn't it? The IRS at that--they like to collect our money more than they like to give it back! And the Post Office....that's the US government, too. And we are also talking about banker's hours, if you're getting direct deposit. Looks like lots of room for delays...
I would just hold on to your seat and see if it doesn't come through in a week or so. |

I called my bank and they said it's not pending for tomorrow and my date is supposed to be May 2nd according to the IRS website. I called the IRS and he told me there was some review of mine..but then i called and got someone else and he said he couldnt see any problem....ugh!!! |

IRS began the transfer economic stimulus payments from April 28, 2008, and many have already seen the payments in their bank accounts. Those who opted for direct deposit will be the first to get the rebate. Mailing of paper check will begin from May 16. Those with last two digits of SSN between 88 to 99 will get paper check after July 4, 2008.

No, and its driving me crazy waiting. My bank wont even answer questions on if a payment is pending. They just say all transactions are finalized at 7 am and they cant tell until then. Sucks! |
