the Supreme Court has refused to hear any appeal from anyone who was ordered to pay his Federal Income taxes by the lower courts. And they've done so consistently for over 50 years.

The lower courts regularly and consistently rule that taxpayers owe as the Internal Revenue Code says they do.

those two items together should be enough for anyone

Federal tax law begins with the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), enacted by Congress in Title 26 of the United States Code (26 U.S.C.).

visit IRS website and you will find all your answers to your questions.

Quote from attached article:

* Frivolous arguments. In these schemes, tax promoters claim that paying taxes is voluntary, or that you don't have to pay federal taxes because you're the resident of a particular state, not the USA.

The courts have repeatedly rejected these claims, Hart says. "Most of them are ridiculous arguments," she adds. "There's no legal hook they can hang their hat on."

This is stupid. Then why do people pay it?

The 16th amendment to the constitution gives Congress the ability to levy taxes, including income taxes, and they've done so, by passing laws, for roughly 100 years.

Stop and think for yourself next time.

IRS treats this as frivolous argument. If you don't file based on this argument or put 0 income and 0 tax on your return, then the penalty is $5,000. Plus you will also pay interest and non payment penalties.

Gary
Title 26 of the United States Code is the law which is based upon the 16th amendment of the US Constitution. Congress makes the laws and the IRS enforces them. So if you have a problem with taxes then complain to your elected representatives not the IRS. People who actually do not pay their taxes subject themselves to seizures of assets, tax liens, fines, penalties, back taxes, and jail time.

Happy to explain! Your statement is incorrect! There most certainly IS a law -- Title 26 of the US Code. Google it if you want to read it.

Anyone who tells you that there is no law is LYING to you, pure and simple. And if you honestly believe that lie, maybe you could explain how a tax that has been levied for almost 93 years without a successful counterclaim would still be in effect without a law that implemented it?

(Only a troll or Tax Kook would give this answer a thumbs down rating. For those who did and don't have the guts to explain your position -- * - Off!)
