Hi! Somebody told me that money that i send to a poor country may return in taxes.True or not?
should i believe in this?

I unfortunately think it's a scam. If you want to donate money check out legitimate organizations in the US that help overseas. If you donate money to a foreign organization you have no idea what they are doing with your money, at least with a US organiation you can request public information on them.

Sure,

and i you put money in my account, you will receive 3 wishes from a magic butt pirate!

Not true!

Before you accept that statement you need to get clarification as to what they mean. On the surface it does not seem to be an accurate statement.

Somebody told you wrong. No, it's not deductible unless you are contributing to an IRS approved charity in that country.

And even then you'd only save a percentage of your donation, not all of it.

no, but depending on how much you give, u might get a tax deduction.

Money given to charity is claimable on your income taxes, thereby reducing the amount of tax you pay by a defined percentage.
